Everything you need. Zero bloat.

Built specifically for developers and sysadmins who value speed, privacy, and simplicity.

Agentless via SSH

No need to install binary agents, curl mystery bash scripts, or open inbound ports on your servers. FleetBar securely probes over standard SSH.

Docker Container Control & Shell

Detects Docker on remote servers and local OrbStack / Docker Desktop. Jump directly into any container with an interactive shell (`docker exec`), or restart services with 1 click.

1-Click SSH Terminal

Need to run a command? Click the terminal icon on any server to immediately pop open your favorite terminal (Terminal, iTerm2, Ghostty, Kitty) connected to that exact host.

How Agentless Monitoring Works

Zero overhead on your hosts. Complete control on your Mac.

01. Standard SSH Auth

Uses your existing Mac SSH configuration (`~/.ssh/config`) and keys (`id_ed25519`, `id_rsa`). Passwords are kept safely in your native macOS Keychain.

02. Lightweight POSIX Probing

Executes non-blocking POSIX shell commands (`vmstat`, `top`, `df`, `docker ps`). Consumes less than 0.1% CPU on both host and Mac.

03. Native Swift Presentation

Renders smooth, high-DPI Sparklines and gauges directly in the macOS menu bar with zero memory leaks or battery drain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about FleetBar, privacy, and compatibility.

Is FleetBar really 100% free with no paywall?
Yes! FleetBar is 100% free with zero subscriptions, zero license key checks, and zero feature limits. You can monitor unlimited remote and local servers. If you find it valuable, you can support development with a coffee on Ko-fi.
Do I need to install any software or daemons on my remote servers?
No! FleetBar is completely agentless. It probes CPU, RAM, Disk, and Docker status securely via non-interactive SSH (`BatchMode=yes`). You don't have to install Node.js, Python, Prometheus node-exporter, or curl any external scripts on your remote machines.
Which macOS versions and Macs are supported?
FleetBar is compiled for macOS 13.0 (Ventura), macOS 14.0 (Sonoma), and macOS 15.0 (Sequoia). It runs natively on all Apple Silicon chips (M1, M2, M3, M4) as well as modern Intel-based Macs.
Can I manage Docker containers and run container exec shells?
Yes! FleetBar automatically detects Docker on your remote hosts. Click on any server card to see active container names, images, uptime, and ports. You can restart any container or open an interactive terminal shell inside the container with one click.
